Privacy Policy

This policy explains what catch collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with - including the AI providers that turn your captured ideas into drafts.

Last updated: 4 June 2026

Who we are

catch is a multi-brand content workflow operated by Pixelhop. In this policy, "we", "us", and "catch" refer to the service at catchdrafts.com and app.catchdrafts.com. If you self-host the open-source version, you are the data controller for your own deployment and this policy does not apply to you.

What we collect

  • Account details - your email address and authentication data, so you can sign in and we can secure your account.
  • Content you capture - the notes and ideas you write, the brands and brand-voice guidance you configure, and any drafts generated from them.
  • Media you attach - images and short videos you add to a note, stored on our infrastructure.
  • Links you include - when a note contains a URL, we fetch that page and extract its text to give the AI context for your draft.
  • Usage data - basic counts (captures, AI actions) used to operate the service and enforce plan limits.

How AI drafting works (third-party processing)

catch generates drafts using third-party AI. When you ask catch to draft, revise, or build a carousel, we send the relevant content to our AI provider to produce the result. Specifically, the following may be transmitted:

  • the text of the note or draft you're working on, and your brand-voice settings;
  • the images attached to a note (resized before sending; embedded location/EXIF metadata is removed in that step);
  • the text extracted from any links in your note.

AI requests are routed through OpenRouter, which forwards them to the underlying model provider (currently Anthropic). We configure these providers to not retain your content for model training where that option is available to us. We do not sell your content, and we don't use it to train our own models.

Who we share data with

We rely on a small set of service providers ("subprocessors") to run catch:

  • Cloudflare - hosting, plus storage of your content and media (Workers, D1, R2).
  • OpenRouter - routes AI drafting requests to model providers.
  • Anthropic - the AI model provider that generates drafts.
  • Postiz - when you schedule a post, the draft and any media are sent to Postiz to publish to your connected social channels.

We share data with these providers only to operate the features you use. We don't sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

Storage and retention

Your notes, drafts, and media are stored so you can return to them. Deleting a note removes its stored media. You can delete your content at any time; closing your account removes your account data. Backups and provider logs may persist for a limited period after deletion.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below.

Security

We protect your account with authenticated sessions and store credentials and connected-account tokens encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as catch evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
